In the 7th minute, Albino Orzaize sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Despertador's Anier Medero didn't even have to move. The supporters of Despertador booed when La Taberna de Moe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Taberna de Moe's Konrad Kochanowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Markel in the 11th minute of play. When Eusebio Urtun came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the La Taberna de Moe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Urtun couldn't finish the play. Anier Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Mateo Rio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despertador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Anier Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Valente in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Celis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anier Medero, 1-1. Anier Medero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Urtun in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Esteban Fuertes notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of La Taberna de Moe's Konrad Kochanowicz. Konrad Kochanowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 minutes of play, Despertador's Mateo Rio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konrad Kochanowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despertador's Esteban Fuertes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emmanuel Celis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Konrad Kochanowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Orlandus in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Despertador booed when La Taberna de Moe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes La Taberna de Moe got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Celis. Anier Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Celis in the 62nd minute of the match. Mateo Rio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Konrad Kochanowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despertador. In the 73rd match minute, La Taberna de Moe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Valente to maneuver through the defense. Iker Jerano charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 78 minutes, Mateo Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despertador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Fuertes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Kochanowicz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Rio in the 85th minute of play forced La Taberna de Moe's goalkeeper Konrad Kochanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Clodoveo Orlandus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Konrad Kochanowicz. That made the score 1-4 in the 87 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Esteban Fuertes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braulio Rodriguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konrad Kochanowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Rodriguez ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateo Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Kochanowicz having to interfere. Clodoveo Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Despertador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Taberna de Moe.
