The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luciano Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 17 minutes, Carlos Ishmael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nike Team Return and the Corpus AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Nestor Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Arnaldo Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Abilio stood somewhat misplaced when Carlos Ishmael came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Nike Team Return's Arnaldo Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Lluterio in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Inguma Vera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nike Team Return's supporters rose to their feet, but Inguma Vera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Abilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nestor Ireno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Gonzales having to interfere. Atilano Abilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inguma Vera went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Inguma Vera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Corpus AFC's goalkeeper Atilano Abilio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Ishmael. Atilano Abilio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oscar Tebaldo.

Atilano Abilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Ishmael in the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Rosendo Rozarius notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Corpus AFC's Atilano Abilio. Atilano Abilio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Casado in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilano Abilio saved Corpus AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Corpus AFC's zone, Inguma Vera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Abilio came out of the goal and Inguma Vera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Ireno in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gaston Lluterio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corpus AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Lluterio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Gonzales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulises Avellaneda hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Inguma Vera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Abilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Carlos Ishmael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Corpus AFC's Atilano Abilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Casado in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Lluterio got free with Arnaldo Gonzales in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilano Abilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Inguma Vera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
