Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Modesto Millrick kicked off to start the match. Fabio Tebaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Millrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Juventud Unida's Cecilio Merexildo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Tebaldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Juventud Unida getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Teo Gines hit a great ball. Mauro Gau made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Bernardino Erramun sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Erramun got free with Mauro Gau in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Ticucho's Dionisio Lain dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 46th match minute, Ticucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Tolino to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Fidencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fabio Tebaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Lain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With splendid footwork Modesto Millrick arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Juventud Unida's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Erramun came free, but Mauro Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
