The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Ramiro Firmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guillermo y Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Central de Junin the free kick. Klimowitz Torroba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Guillermo y Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central de Junin's zone, Ciro Pacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Dominguez came out of the goal and Ciro Pacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Guillermo y Palermo fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Guillermo y Palermo's Ciro Pacho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The wind increased when Paşa Nasih made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Guillermo y Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Pacho. 52 minutes into the match, Guillermo y Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Blixt came free, but Klimowitz Torroba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Pacho took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Dominguez. Santo Dominguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 58th minute Eulalio Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes in the game, Anders Blixt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Klimowitz Torroba having to interfere. When Radomir Walentowicz fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guillermo y Palermo's protests and gave Radomir Walentowicz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guillermo y Palermo's Radomir Walentowicz got a free kick in the 71st minute. Rosario Central de Junin's Santo Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Pacho in the 79th minute of play. Ciro Pacho took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Dominguez. Santo Dominguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rosario Central de Junin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guillermo y Palermo.
