Celedonio Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Hugo Iaki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatengue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herrera FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tatengue's Hugo Iaki got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Tatengue's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Garaona came free, but Delmiro Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Herrera FC booed when Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Iaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hugo Iaki was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. Delmiro Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Garaona in the 19th minute of play. Andres Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Andres Garaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Tabb. Tatengue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Garaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Delmiro Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Garaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Izel in the 30th minute of the match. If Andres Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tatengue's goalkeeper Delmiro Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tatengue defense, Sergio Izel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Tabb. The Tatengue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Tabb should have stopped the shot. The Tatengue players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Herrera FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Gumaro was the one to do the kick off. Andres Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Tabb having to interfere. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tatengue's goalkeeper Delmiro Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andres Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Tabb having to interfere. In the 66th minute Sergio Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
