After a defensive mix-up in A Pura Garra F.C's zone, Placido Maule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Martxel came out of the goal and Placido Maule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leopoldo Galtero came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Quilmes Futsal Corrientes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Galtero couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Galtero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Leopoldo Galtero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes Futsal Corrientes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Galtero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes A Pura Garra F.C got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Dunixi. With a little luck, Quilmes Futsal Corrientes's Baltasar Remigio got control of the ball when Maximino Paz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Quilmes Futsal Corrientes's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Pabla came free, but Baltasar Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juan Kusko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Martxel was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
