The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arsenio Tipi charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Tipi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Arsenio Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 4 minutes, Sergio Fiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acratas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Fiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Acratas booed when Carrizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Donato Jerico put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Aznar. 16 minutes into the match, Everardo Sidoro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carrizal's Edgard Argoitz. Edgard Argoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Donato Jerico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Aznar was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Israel Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrizal's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Montxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Aznar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Acratas's Victor Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Jerico in the 32nd minute of play. In the 40th minute Donato Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Acratas's zone, Israel Montxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Aznar came out of the goal and Israel Montxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Fiz made a kick off. Victor Aznar came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carrizal's Donato Jerico. But to his dismay, Donato Jerico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Carrizal booed when Acratas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Aznar having to interfere. Constantino Pes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victor Aznar. Acratas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Acratas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Mederi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Sidoro in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Argoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Carrizal's Edgard Argoitz got control of the ball when Everardo Sidoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Arsenio Tipi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Everardo Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Argoitz having to interfere. Julio Lalla's late challenge caught a Acratas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Lalla helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Acratas booed when Carrizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Carrizal's Edgard Argoitz got control of the ball when Sergio Fiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Everardo Sidoro struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Edgard Argoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acratas. Carrizal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
