After 5 played minutes LE MANS AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Tanio. 7 minutes into the game, Cienaguita AFC's Camilo Guter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Marcones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Cienaguita AFC booed when LE MANS AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Modesto Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Elazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Diaz's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Ildefonso Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Camilo Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Ciceron during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rosendo Marcones came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cienaguita AFC's Modesto Txatxu. But to his dismay, Modesto Txatxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 46 minutes, Camilo Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Guter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Iturri to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LE MANS AFC's Santos Ciceron got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in LE MANS AFC's zone, Camilo Guter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Marcones came out of the goal and Camilo Guter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute of the match Basilio Santo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Marcones showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Camilo Guter in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 62nd match minute, LE MANS AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Iturri to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Elazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Diaz in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Guter in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Marcones saved LE MANS AFC from getting behind. Rosendo Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Txatxu in the 70th minute of play. Rosendo Marcones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Modesto Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rosendo Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the LE MANS AFC defense, Camilo Guter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Marcones. The LE MANS AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Marcones should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Guter in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Marcones prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cayetano Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Camilo Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Marcones having to interfere. Camilo Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Marcones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Guter ran back to his position shaking his head. If Modesto Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cienaguita AFC fully deserved thier win.
