The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Soconcho AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Metán:s goal. Anselmo Quirce placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 20 minutes into the match, Metán's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Bernaldo came free, but Baldomero Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Bastian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, one of Soconcho AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soconcho AFC. Alvaro Bastian went to the wrong direction when Anselmo Quirce was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Baldomero Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Javiar in the 36th minute of the match. Nicanor Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Mauro Maiorga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edelmiro Eufemio made a kick off. Aristides Tonete hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Marco Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Baldomero Kiliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Hanni in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Soconcho AFC defense, Edelmiro Eufemio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Bastian. The Soconcho AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Bastian should have stopped the shot. Ubaldo Bernaldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomero Kiliz came out and tried to block the shot, but Ubaldo Bernaldo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 83rd minute. When Soconcho AFC's Ubaldo Bernaldo in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metán's goalie prevented a goal. The Metán supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soconcho AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Soconcho AFC.
