Teofilo Nesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Teodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Petri to make the kick off. Desiderio Ariando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ruperto Bastia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Ariando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Bastia having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Bilbo. Gaspar Daunte kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Vivoenlavilla's Teofilo Nesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Vivoenlavilla from getting a goal against them. Ruperto Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Panpili in the 77th minute of play. Maximino Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Maximino Bilbo got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Sergio Petri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilo Nesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Desiderio Ariando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Bastia having to interfere. Ruperto Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Ariando, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Vivoenlavilla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
