After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Iacob Voinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veni - Vidi - Vici's supporters rose to their feet, but Iacob Voinescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Orixe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Iacob Voinescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Iacob Voinescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club de Avellaneda's Domingo Orixe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Iacob Voinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veni - Vidi - Vici's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iacob Voinescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Ildefonso Laurendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iacob Voinescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Orixe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iacob Voinescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Racing Club de Avellaneda's Domingo Orixe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Cebrian in the 22nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Ildefonso Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Orixe was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Iacob Voinescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iacob Voinescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a little luck, Racing Club de Avellaneda's Domingo Orixe got control of the ball when Iacob Voinescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Veni - Vidi - Vici were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Racing Club de Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Phelipe took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Racing Club de Avellaneda's goalie and right to Eliseo Cebrian. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Racing Club de Avellaneda's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 42nd minute, Iacob Voinescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Eguntsenti to make the kick off. When Iacob Voinescu came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Veni - Vidi - Vici fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iacob Voinescu couldn't finish the play. If Iacob Voinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club de Avellaneda's zone, Rafael Phelipe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Orixe came out of the goal and Rafael Phelipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Iacob Voinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Veni - Vidi - Vici fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Veni - Vidi - Vici's Iacob Voinescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iacob Voinescu scored 4-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Orixe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Racing Club de Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Voinescu came free, but Domingo Orixe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iacob Voinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Domingo Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Phelipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iacob Voinescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Orixe having to make a save. Iacob Voinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Domingo Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Txurio's late challenge caught a Veni - Vidi - Vici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Txurio helped the player get up and apologised. Honorio Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Iacob Voinescu made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Racing Club de Avellaneda's Domingo Orixe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Clodoveo Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Orixe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iacob Voinescu's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Domingo Orixe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iacob Voinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Enrique Calisto hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Veni - Vidi - Vici were the better team. Veni - Vidi - Vici's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
