The referee ignored Ancaján AFC's protests and gave Adriana Tono a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zárate FC booed when Ancaján AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriana Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Oihan in the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Ancaján AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Guzman came free, but Ceferino Lesardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Alberto Txema had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Lesardo. Ancaján AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Txema was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ceferino Lesardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Txema's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Txema in the 16th minute of play forced Ancaján AFC's goalkeeper Ceferino Lesardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Fernandez hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes Ancaján AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Clodio. In the 20th minute, Genaro Guzman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ancaján AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Constantino Bazkoare hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Alberto Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Lesardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceferino Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Gaspard in the 26th minute of the match. Ceferino Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Txema in the 31st minute of play. Freddy Donio took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceferino Lesardo. Ceferino Lesardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Nuno during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Ancaján AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Nuno to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Guzman in the 38th minute of the match. Ancaján AFC's Ceferino Lesardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Txema in the 39th minute of play. If Genaro Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Guzman made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Genaro Guzman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Lesardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Alberto Txema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Lesardo having to interfere. Ceferino Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Gaspard in the 58th minute of the match. Lino Leizarraga hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ceferino Lesardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Alberto Txema's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ceferino Lesardo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Guzman in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceferino Lesardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Alberto Txema ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Lesardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Silvio Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Lesardo made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Aldo Gaspard sent off a good shot on target. After 81 played minutes Ancaján AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Nuno. 83 minutes into the match, Ancaján AFC's goalkeeper Ceferino Lesardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Odol. After a rather tough play, Ancaján AFC's Constantino Bazkoare got a free kick in the 84th minute. Alberto Txema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Zárate FC's Genaro Guzman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ceferino Lesardo. Ceferino Lesardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Alberto Txema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ceferino Lesardo made a huge save.
