In the 19th minute Roberto Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Ang Zhou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Dolfos's late challenge caught a C.A.Virreyes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Dolfos helped the player get up and apologised. Mao Ang Zhou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Efraim in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, C.A.Virreyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julián Zapata to maneuver through the defense. Mao Ang Zhou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Dolfos in the 35th minute of play. Mao Ang Zhou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Dolfos's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the C.A.Virreyes defense, Roberto Dolfos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mao Ang Zhou. The C.A.Virreyes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mao Ang Zhou should have stopped the shot. Mao Ang Zhou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Efraim in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Rastrojos AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julián Zapata to strike the kick off in the second half. Mao Ang Zhou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Dolfos went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Roberto Dolfos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Virreyes's zone, Astor Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Ang Zhou came out of the goal and Astor Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mao Ang Zhou made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Tobias Montes sent off a good shot on target. Mao Ang Zhou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Dolfos in the 68th minute. Roberto Dolfoss short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Mao Ang Zhou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 83 minutes into the match, C.A.Virreyes's goalkeeper Mao Ang Zhou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Dolfos. 83 minutes into the game, Rastrojos AFC's Roberto Dolfos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mao Ang Zhou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Astor Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute of the match, Roberto Dolfos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mao Ang Zhou was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The C.A.Virreyes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rastrojos AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
