Mao Ang Zhou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Belasko in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Virreyes's zone, Santos Belasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Ang Zhou came out of the goal and Santos Belasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Fliz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julián Zapata in the 20th minute. C.A.Virreyes's Mao Ang Zhou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Florian in the 25th minute of play. Tunuyán's Julio Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julián Zapata in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th play minute Julián Zapata came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Fliz. 1-1. Julián Zapata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Fliz having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, Tunuyán's goal looked a bit too open when Julián Zapata came free, but Julio Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mao Ang Zhou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tunuyán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florencio Hotz in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the C.A.Virreyes defense, Serafin Rafel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mao Ang Zhou. The C.A.Virreyes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mao Ang Zhou should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the match, Serafino Maura notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of C.A.Virreyes's Mao Ang Zhou. Mao Ang Zhou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julián Zapata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Tunuyán defense, Julián Zapata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Fliz. The Tunuyán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Fliz should have stopped the shot. Julio Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Zapata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Tunuyán's Serafino Maura ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mao Ang Zhou. Mao Ang Zhou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 70th match minute, C.A.Virreyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. Julián Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Fliz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tunuyán's zone, Julián Zapata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Fliz came out of the goal and Julián Zapata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Belasko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Mao Ang Zhou made a huge save. Serafino Maura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A.Virreyes's Rigoberto Vincent got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The C.A.Virreyes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tunuyán's performance. The match ended with a win for Tunuyán.
