In the 21st minute, Wasting Light FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florentino Buinton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Wasting Light FC's zone, Jairo Noe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Reno came out of the goal and Jairo Noe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 26th minute of the match Rene Loco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rene Loco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 28th minute, Florentino Buinton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isaias Reno. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Burni in the 33rd minute of play forced IGUALDAD F.SH's goalkeeper Amado Dino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Sabin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Isaias Reno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Buinton in the 36th minute of play. IGUALDAD F.SH's Torbjörn Kristiansson got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Wasting Light FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Buinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Reno was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Torbjörn Kristiansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torbjörn Kristiansson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 45th minute, Bernardo Kauldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Kauldi to make the kick off. In the 65th minute Iker Orlondon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Reno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Torbjörn Kristiansson sped through Wasting Light FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isaias Reno.
