In a very dangerous position, a player in Parque del Lago fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Parque del Lago:s Adan Tino showed great skill when he stopped Carolo Quintana:s penalty. Aurelio Sanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Venancio Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joaquin Brun fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rey de Copas F.C's protests and gave Joaquin Brun a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Parque del Lago booed when Rey de Copas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carolo Madaleno came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Parque del Lago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Madaleno couldn't finish the play. Octavio Kismi charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Kismi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, one of Rey de Copas F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rey de Copas F.C. Venancio Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Lorien in the 39th minute of play. Venancio Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ambrosio Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rey de Copas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Valiente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosio Valiente was the one to do the kick off. Adan Tino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Transito went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 91 minutes, Cipriano Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rey de Copas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Transito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Parque del Lago supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Parque del Lago would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
