After a rather tough play, Bordeu's Mariano Sandalio got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The referee showed Evaristo Ourente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 8 minutes into the game, Evaristo Ourente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pastor Laurentzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pastor Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Ourente in the 17th minute of the match. If Javier Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Siro Quico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palizini FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Quico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pastor Laurentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Basajaun hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Bordeu's Joaquin Gaur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Laurentzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Bordeu getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Natalio Obeko hit a great ball. Eustaquio Iztal, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Bordeu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Basajaun to make the kick off. Florencio Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Basajaun in the 54th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Pastor Laurentzi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Merexildo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Palizini FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Merexildo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Bordeu's Nicanor Sabin got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Basajaun in the 62nd minute of play forced Bordeu's goalkeeper Florencio Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Javier Basajaun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bordeu's Florencio Cordairo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute Evaristo Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bordeu's goalkeeper Florencio Cordairo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute Evaristo Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Basajaun in the 76th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Victoriano Hurko put in a rough tackle. After 88 played minutes Palizini FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Hurko. If Siro Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Quico in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Bordeu got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Sabin. 97 minutes into the match, Palizini FC's goalkeeper Pastor Laurentzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Gaur. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Palizini FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
