Botija's Candido Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Policarpio in the 40th minute of play. Angel Tibalt charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Tibalt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Angel Tibalt came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Botija fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Tibalt couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute Aldo Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fraga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Policarpio in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Tiburcio Belasko made a precise shot to the right of Candido Cordarin. Botija's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fraga AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Botija had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
