After 3 played minutes El leoncito UTD got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Berto. In the 6th match minute, Nazareno AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Mendez to maneuver through the defense. Dante Cilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Quiroga in the 12th minute of the match. When Esteve Inguma fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El leoncito UTD's protests and gave Esteve Inguma a yellow card for diving instead. Esteve Inguma kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Teo Ruisko sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El leoncito UTD's Dante Cilio didn't even have to move. In the 20th minute of the match Hugo Rio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Cilio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Isaac Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dante Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Quiroga scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Cilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Cilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Tab went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Fabricio Gerazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Ruisko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Gerazan during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of El leoncito UTD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 47 minutes into the match, Nazareno AFC's Isaac Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Cilio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Quiroga to make the kick off. If Americo Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, El leoncito UTD's Fabricio Gerazan tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Edgardo Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazareno AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Tab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes Nazareno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Kepa. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nazareno AFC's goalkeeper Ernesto Palban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Primitivo Leocadio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Edgardo Tab's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Cilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Manuel Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edgardo Tab came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Nazareno AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Tab couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Manuel Kepa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nazareno AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Edgardo Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Cilio having to interfere.
