The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Chimu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Silbestre came free, but Benicio Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Urtsua in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Bemabe saved Tapiales AFC from getting behind. In the 77th play minute Adolfo Fidencio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edelmiro Bemabe. 1-3. The supporters of Chimu FC booed when Tapiales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Fidencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Bemabe made a huge save. Chimu FC played a much better game than Tapiales AFC and deserved their victory. The Tapiales AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
