In the 8th minute, Maximiliano Oinaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Mikelats in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Presebal saved Elmer Fudd F.C. from getting behind. If Geronimo Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Goren hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match Rogelio Oinatz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Presebal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Roque Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geronimo Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jaime Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Mikelats in the 27th minute of play. Jaime Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Mikelats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Hibai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elmer Fudd F.C.'s goalkeeper Jaime Presebal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Geronimo Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Saul Hibai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elmer Fudd F.C. and the Fontezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was beautiful to see Fontezuela's Rogelio Oinatz in action when he in the 41st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Maximiliano Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Camerino having to interfere. After 47 played minutes, Fontezuela's Braulio Rico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Presebal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fontezuela reached it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geronimo Hibai was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Hibai in the 51st minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Cirilo Acosta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Apolo Camerino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geronimo Hibai might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Presebal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Hibai ran back to his position shaking his head. If Maximiliano Oinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Mikelats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jaime Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Oinaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Camerino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Camerino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Oinaz in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Elmer Fudd F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fontezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
