The long shot by Diego Blai in the 22nd minute really tested Marcelo Raymond's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Nataniel in the 28th minute of play forced Boca Juniors FC's goalkeeper Bruno Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Boca Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by David Escobar. Natalio Montel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Marcelo Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Boca Juniors FC's Natalio Montel got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Natalio Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Montel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Esquipula made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Benicio Bento sent off a good shot on target. Benicio Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Esquipula having to interfere. Bruno Esquipula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Nataniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Oinaz in the 81st minute of play forced Club Atlético Kevin's goalkeeper Marcelo Raymond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
