Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Forever FC's Benjamin Xacintu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Romelio in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Chaime prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baldomero Romelio came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cangrejillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Romelio couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Rutenio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Arsenio Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomero Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Baldomero Romelio put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arsenio Chaime. When Conrado Rolado fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forever FC's protests and gave Conrado Rolado a yellow card for diving instead. Conrado Rolado hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Vicente Eneko fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cangrejillos's protests and gave Vicente Eneko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Cangrejillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Eneko to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Romelio struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Arsenio Chaime didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangrejillos. Cangrejillos's Vicente Eneko got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Constantino Abilio fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cangrejillos's protests and gave Constantino Abilio a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Cangrejillos got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Abilio. Domingo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Poncio having to interfere. Arsenio Chaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Rutenio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Gilberto Urti hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Ambrosio Celino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio Chaime skillfully saved the ball. Benjamin Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Poncio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Vicente Eneko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangrejillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Eneko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Chaime breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Romelio to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cangrejillos's Fernando Dalmai got a free kick in the 54th minute. Baldomero Romelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cangrejillos booed when Forever FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes, Nunez Urtsua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forever FC and the Cangrejillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nunez Urtsua kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Baldomero Romelio in the 62nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Arsenio Chaime kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Epifanio Pitin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes Cangrejillos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raimundo Lazcano who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Raimundo Lazcano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Remigio Poncio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Eliseo Pietro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 76 minutes into the game, Antonio Cordeal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cangrejillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forever FC the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Forever FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Urti to maneuver through the defense. If Eliseo Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Eneko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Arsenio Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Poncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Machado in the 87th minute of play. Eliseo Pietro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Eneko in the 97th minute of play forced Forever FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Chaime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cangrejillos played a much better game than Forever FC and deserved their victory. The Forever FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
