A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Gerardo Havier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marull AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Jacinto Gumaro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arsenio Pietro. The goal made the score 1-2. When Marull AFC's Fabio Abad in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's goalie prevented a goal. 26 minutes into the match, C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Havier came free, but Joaquin Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Primo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiburcio Primo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Primo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Abad in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Eleazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerardo Havier struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Joaquin Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marull AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Abad in the 34th minute of play forced C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's goalkeeper Joaquin Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Gerardo Havier made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Eleazar. C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Abad was the one to do the kick off. When Inocencio Jon fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's protests and gave Inocencio Jon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marull AFC booed when C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fabio Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arsenio Pietro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Fabio Abad fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gerardo Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lázaro Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arsenio Pietro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Gumaro went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When Tiburcio Primo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 79th match minute, C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Primo to maneuver through the defense. Lázaro Onbera kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gerardo Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marull AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 minutes, Ramon Tab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham and the Marull AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquin Eleazar was a little too slow when Fabio Abad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-4.
