The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Brun notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Aragonés FC's Juan Cordero. Juan Cordero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aragonés FC's goalkeeper Juan Cordero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Goiz couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Brun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Enzo Dolfos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Aragonés FC's zone, Enzo Dolfos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Cordero came out of the goal and Enzo Dolfos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes, Eustacio Reno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aragonés FC and the Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Reno kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Juan Cordero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Roldans short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Juan Cordero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Clodoveo Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Juan Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Justo Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Justo Roldan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Roldan couldn't finish the play.
