Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gonzalo Gomesano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes of play, Tusquitas FC's Melquiades Tiso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Intxixu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Gonzalo Gomesano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dalmacio Soin. The goal made the score 1-1. Eustacio Ezkerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Dalmacio Soin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Chucho during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tusquitas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benigno Txurio was slow to take the kick. During this time Darwin's players had a chance to rest. 29 minutes into the match, Eustacio Ezkerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Soin. Tusquitas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Ezkerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Eustacio Ezkerra struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Dalmacio Soin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darwin. Gonzalo Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Soin having to interfere. Gonzalo Gomesano might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Soin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzalo Gomesano ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apolo Quirze stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gonzalo Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dalmacio Soin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eustacio Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Soin came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Darwin's Gonzalo Gomesano. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Gomesano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Gomesano in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Soin saved Tusquitas FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Ezkerra in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Soin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Darwin booed when Tusquitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Benigno Txurio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tusquitas FC's Dalmacio Soin didn't even have to move. If Melquiades Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Gomesano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmacio Soin was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Eustacio Ezkerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Soin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Gonzalo Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Soin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Melquiades Tiso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Silvestre Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tusquitas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darwin the free kick.
