Carlos Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Berriotxoa in the 12th minute of play forced Vivero's goalkeeper Carlos Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Javiar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Amancio Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Caitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomás Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Los Fueguinos F.C's zone, Amancio Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Caitano came out of the goal and Amancio Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Fueguinos F.C's Jeremias Caitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Leocadio in the 28th minute of play. Amancio Franco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Caitano having to make a save. Vivero's Carlos Crescencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Vivero from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Leonardo Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Crescencio having to interfere. Carlos Crescencio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gilberto Maria. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Tomás Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vivero's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Leocadio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Caitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremias Caitano came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vivero's Amancio Franco. But to his dismay, Amancio Franco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Berriotxoa to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Rogelio Chale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vivero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Fueguinos F.C the free kick. The supporters of Los Fueguinos F.C booed when Vivero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Chale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Berriotxoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Guido Francho fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vivero's protests and gave Guido Francho a yellow card for diving instead. Guido Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Amancio Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Leocadio in the 66th minute of the match. Amancio Franco succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After having played for 72 minutes, Tomás Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vivero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Leocadio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Natalio Berriotxoa came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Los Fueguinos F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Berriotxoa couldn't finish the play. If Salvador Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Berriotxoa took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Crescencio. Carlos Crescencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Tomás Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Caitano having to interfere. Jeremias Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Leocadio in the 89th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
