Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hermengildo Honrio made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th minute, Evaristo Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juventus FC's Elpidio Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Rivas in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gualeguaychú FC's zone, Hermengildo Honrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Baudelio came out of the goal and Hermengildo Honrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Lertxun having to interfere. Emiliano Solustiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Elpidio Lertxun made a huge save. In the 34th minute, one of Juventus FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juventus FC. The referee gave Gualeguaychú FC a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauro Aznar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Juventus FC's Elpidio Lertxun. 1-0. When Gualeguaychú FC's Cayetano Rivas in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventus FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cayetano Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Lertxun having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cayetano Rivas to make the kick off. Teobaldo Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jaime Baudelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Lertxun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cayetano Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute of the match Santo Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Baudelio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Honrio in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Baudelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpidio Lertxun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Solustiano went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus FC's zone, Cayetano Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Lertxun came out of the goal and Cayetano Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Santo Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Solustiano in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Gualeguaychú FC's goalkeeper Jaime Baudelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Dalmau. Victorio Dalmau came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jaime Baudelio could save by the left post. After 83 played minutes Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Aires. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Rivas in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Lertxun saved Juventus FC from getting behind. If Emiliano Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes, Gualeguaychú FC's Flavio Oriol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elpidio Lertxun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gualeguaychú FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Rivas in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Lertxun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gualeguaychú FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Juventus FC for a fine match.
