If Mauricio Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hermengildo Honrio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Salamon having to make a save. Hermengildo Honrio's late challenge caught a Black Titans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Honrio helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Honrio. Arnaldo Llope hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Zeledon Aires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juventus FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rosendo Goito was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Titans's players had a chance to rest. Rosendo Goito made a great header on Black Titans's corner, it was just that Juventus FC's Elpidio Lertxun managed to reach the ball for a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A wasted opportunity for Juventus FC. 94 minutes into the match, Black Titans's goalkeeper Conrado Salamon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Dalmau. Hermengildo Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Black Titans's zone, Victorio Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Salamon came out of the goal and Victorio Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Black Titans's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
