Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) River Parana's Saturnino Amor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saverio Eusko but with some difficulty. In the 9th minute Alfonso Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to River Parana getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jeremias Firme hit a great ball. Martin Dodorol scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saverio Eusko made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Alfredo Marino sent off a good shot on target. Soda Stereo's Saverio Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo George in the 21st minute of play. Jonatan Nel's late challenge caught a River Parana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Nel helped the player get up and apologised. Saverio Eusko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Marino in the 25th minute. Alfonso Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Eusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo George in the 30th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Alfonso Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Dodorol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Elvio Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Vachon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Fernandes having to make a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Vachon made a kick off. Alfonso Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Elvio Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Alfonso Vachon lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Elvio Fernandes. If Hermengildo George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hermengildo George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Marino scored 1-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Eusko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonso Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alfonso Vachon came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Soda Stereo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Vachon couldn't finish the play. If Alfonso Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Dodorol was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jacobo Ganix hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Martin Dodorol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Soda Stereo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
