The referee ignored Tapso FC's protests and gave Atilano Rocendo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tapso FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Atilano Rocendo hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Tapso FC's goalkeeper Isaac Bastia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Guillem. Emiliano Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Emiliano Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Orlan in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ragnar fc's Raul Atauri got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ricardo Panfilo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Justino Cordarrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agustin Etor was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Cordarrell couldn't finish the play. After the first half Tapso FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Orlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ragnar fc's Agustin Etor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ragnar fc from getting a goal against them. Isaac Bastia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Guillem's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tapso FC's zone, Hernan Guillem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Bastia came out of the goal and Hernan Guillem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Cordarrell in the 80th minute of play forced Ragnar fc's goalkeeper Agustin Etor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ragnar fc booed when Tapso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Hegoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Cordarrell during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Tapso FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Cordarrell. Tapso FC's Isaac Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Guillem in the 86th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tapso FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
