The supporters of Gongan booed when Cantadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes in the game, Pastor Ikatz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roman Aguirre having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Marco Tiadoro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pastor Maidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Filipo having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Gongan's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Maidana came free, but Cecilio Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Tiadoro struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Roman Aguirre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gongan. In the 48th minute, Astor Cerilo made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Filipo. Gongan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Cecilio Filipo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Astor Cerilo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 71 minutes, Astor Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantadero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Cerilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Cerilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Cecilio Filipo made a huge save. After 76 played minutes Gongan got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Isaio. In the 78th minute, Pastor Maidana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cecilio Filipo. The goal made the score 1-2. With his leg Cecilio Filipo managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Cantadero's Astor Cerilo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pastor Maidana got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 94th match minute, Cantadero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Maidana to maneuver through the defense. Cantadero's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
