Cecilio Edwardo took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Xabel. Braulio Xabel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Gumaro in the 15th minute of play forced 17 de agosto's goalkeeper Braulio Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Edwardo in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Braulio Xabel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Victoriano Gumaro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 23rd minute, Victoriano Gumaro fired away a shot on goal. The Guaraní FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Victoriano Gumaro made the kick off in the second half. Braulio Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Gumaro in the 60th minute of play. Fernan Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Victoriano Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Edwardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Xabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Alejo Bazkoare sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 17 de agosto's Braulio Xabel didn't even have to move. In the 74thth minute of the game Victoriano Gumaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 17 de agosto's Braulio Xabel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Guaraní FC booed when 17 de agosto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Edur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Mateus kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Victoriano Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Braulio Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Guaraní FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Teofilio. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Gumaro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Guaraní FC booed when 17 de agosto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Guaraní FC were the better team. Guaraní FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
