Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luciano Transito started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute of the match, Isaias Indar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ulises Osasun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ulises Osasun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Transito's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Rivadavia's Ulises Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Transito in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Indar got free with Ulises Osasun in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Tirso's late challenge caught a Álzaga AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Tirso helped the player get up and apologised. Álzaga AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Ferdinand in the 28th minute. The corner led Álzaga AFC's Saverio Ferdinand to fire away a dangerous shot which Ulises Osasun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Luciano Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Álzaga AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Osasun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Transito in the 33rd minute of play forced Rivadavia's goalkeeper Ulises Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Xabier struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Efrain Lixandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivadavia. In the 43rd minute Luciano Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Edelmiro Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Xabier was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rivadavia's Bartolo Peruanton got a free kick in the 67th minute. Federico Quirce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Efrain Lixandro made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Álzaga AFC's zone, Federico Quirce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Lixandro came out of the goal and Federico Quirce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efrain Lixandro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Quirce in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Damian Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Delmiro Kismi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Álzaga AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivadavia the free kick. Ulises Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
