Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Primitivo Ederono got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Gervasio Lauaxeta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huanguelén's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Churqui FC the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Huanguelén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Lauaxeta to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Churqui FC's Patricio Igon got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Churqui FC's goalkeeper Siro Katia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Firme. Eloy Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Katia having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Churqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Dolcet to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Eloy Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huanguelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Katia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eloy Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Siro Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Churqui FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Primitivo Ederono 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Siro Katia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Albino Abastas. The supporters of Huanguelén booed when Churqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Dei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Eloy Firme got a very nice opportunity to score, but Siro Katia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The audience was convinced that Primitivo Ederono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Katia was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After having played for 65 minutes, Tobias Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huanguelén's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Birila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Ederono in the 70th minute of play forced Churqui FC's goalkeeper Siro Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Eloy Firme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Siro Katia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Firme in the 77th minute of play forced Churqui FC's goalkeeper Siro Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Katia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Ederono, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eloy Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huanguelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Katia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siro Katia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Ederono's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Eloy Firme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Katia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Eloy Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Siro Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Primitivo Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Firme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huanguelén fans cheered their team off the field, for while Churqui FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
