Marcial Onbera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serafino Theodore showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. When Osvaldo Toribio came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Cuipán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Toribio couldn't finish the play. The referee showed Ignacio Abastas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Amancio Gilesindo, was totally fooled by Calabacillas's Narciso Roland, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Samuel Feliz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Gilesindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After taking down the ball on Cuipán AFC's corner Ignacio Abastas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcial Onbera quite easily take care of the ball.
