In the 3rd match minute, Anjulio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Clis to maneuver through the defense. Roque Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Herrera having to interfere. Cayetano Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Antonio Domeka charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Domeka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Anjulio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Domeka. Cayetano Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Martxel in the 25th minute of the match. If Marcelino Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Azubeli in the 30th minute of play. Cayetano Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Platon in the 34th minute of play forced Anjulio AFC's goalkeeper Cayetano Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes, Roque Quilo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Anjulio AFC's Cayetano Herrera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Roque Quilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teto C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Quilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nereo Clis to make the kick off. If Marcelino Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Anjulio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Quilo came free, but Cayetano Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Martxel got free with Cayetano Herrera in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cayetano Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Quilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Anjulio AFC's goalkeeper Cayetano Herrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Martxel. Roque Quilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cayetano Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Elia having to interfere. Anjulio AFC's Cayetano Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Quilo in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Marcelino Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teto C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Martxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Herrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Quilo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Quilo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Herrera saved Anjulio AFC from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Teto C.F.'s Roque Quilo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. A collision led to Teto C.F. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Oscar Eliazar hit a great ball. Robustiano Diaz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Teto C.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Teto C.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
