Roque Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Herrera having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Marcelino Martxel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Anjulio AFC's Cayetano Herrera. Cayetano Herrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Teto C.F. defense, Nereo Clis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Elia. The Teto C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Elia should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute of the match, Roque Quilo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cayetano Herrera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oscar Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Martxel got free with Cayetano Herrera in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roque Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Herrera having to interfere. Marcelino Martxel had several of the Anjulio AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Cayetano Herrera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arsenio Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Domeka, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Clis made a kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anjulio AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Casimiro Loreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Teto C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. After 55 minutes of play, Teto C.F.'s Marcelino Martxel made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Herrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Marcelino Martxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Teto C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Roque Quilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anjulio AFC's Cayetano Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Martxel in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Domeka during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Anjulio AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Antonio Domeka hit a great ball. Marcelino Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Quilo in the 79th minute of play forced Anjulio AFC's goalkeeper Cayetano Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Azubeli in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Marcelino Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teto C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Martxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Marcelino Martxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Teto C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Quilo in the 95th minute of play forced Anjulio AFC's goalkeeper Cayetano Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Teto C.F. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Anjulio AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
