The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Loren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvaro Guib. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Cristian Loren struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Alvaro Guib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcaniyeu. Cristian Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Guib having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Hipolito Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilcaniyeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Lehen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Guib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 played minutes Cristian Loren rounded A.R.F's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Alvaro Guib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Loren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Lehen got free with Alvaro Guib in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceferino Eusko charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Eusko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes A.R.F got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Eusko. A.R.F's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Cristian Loren scored to the left of an out of position Alvaro Guib, making the score, 3-0. A.R.F's Alvaro Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Loren in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Loren to make the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.R.F's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Adrio was slow to take the kick. During this time Pilcaniyeu's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Igor Adrio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Guib quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Cristian Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.R.F booed when Pilcaniyeu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cristian Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Hipolito Lehen came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Pilcaniyeu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Lehen couldn't finish the play. If Hipolito Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Ramon Ferrando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.R.F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilcaniyeu the free kick. After 89 played minutes A.R.F got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Ferrando. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hipolito Lehen sped through A.R.F's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvaro Guib. Cristian Loren might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Guib. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Loren ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Pilcaniyeu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
