Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonardo Perfecto took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Franco during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 4 minutes into the game, one of Real Carrizales F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nicolas Eduino shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 8th minute, Isidro Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes, López's Cornelio Petri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Azubeli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in López reached it. Zeledon Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Azubeli having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Perfecto in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Cordera saved López from getting behind. Mariano Luken hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as López's Zeledon Rey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Azubeli. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Joel Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Mannie in the 27th minute of play. Marco Azubeli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Rey's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Real Carrizales F.C.'s Marco Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Rey in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Ferman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Carrizales F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave López the free kick. 38 minutes into the game, Amancio Chuse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marco Azubeli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeledon Rey to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Amancio Chuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. López's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Chuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Carrizales F.C.'s Casimiro Eladio got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Nicolas Eduino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Azubeli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Rey in the 62nd minute of play forced Real Carrizales F.C.'s goalkeeper Marco Azubeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Zeledon Rey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The López fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 68 minutes, Zeledon Rey made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Real Carrizales F.C.'s Marco Azubeli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Chuse in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Azubeli saved Real Carrizales F.C. from getting behind. Zeledon Rey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Azubeli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Real Carrizales F.C.'s Marco Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Chuse in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Domingo Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. López's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Carrizales F.C. the free kick. In the 86th match minute, López was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Oliverio to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Azubeli having to interfere. Domingo Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marco Azubeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Cordera having to interfere.
