In the 20th minute, Froilan Remigio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Stanislao in the 22nd minute of play. Santiago Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Bibiano having to interfere. After some careless play in the Suripugio AFC defense, Froilan Remigio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nemesio Erasto. The Suripugio AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Erasto should have stopped the shot. Suripugio AFC's Nemesio Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Stanislao in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Botello was the one to do the kick off. Quebrachal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
