Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pepperinos reached it. 77 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Clodio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Horacio Piarres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Luciano Incendio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Dudignac got a freekick which was hit by Hector Pacho. Horacio Piarres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Valentine's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The Dudignac supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dudignac would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
