Alonzo Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Handi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Calvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Benvide came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS Campeones's Fabian Calvino. But to his dismay, Fabian Calvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 21st minute Oscar Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Gomesano didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 23rd minute. LOS Campeones's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Oscar Handi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Froilan Elia charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Elia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Froilan Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Alonzo Benvide was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roberto Velasco. LOS Campeones's Oscar Handi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Megadeth F.C.'s Alonzo Benvide got control of the ball when Fabian Calvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 minutes of play Megadeth F.C.'s Froilan Elia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Alonzo Benvide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Handi's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Baltasar Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, LOS Campeones's Oscar Handi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alonzo Benvide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonzo Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Calvino in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Danilo Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Megadeth F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Sagrario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 minutes of play, Megadeth F.C.'s Arturo Fernado made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Hermon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Oscar Handi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Benvide was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Fabian Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alonzo Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Megadeth F.C. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Arturo Fernado hit a great ball. Alonzo Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Handi in the 97th minute of the match. If Oscar Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that LOS Campeones were the better team. LOS Campeones's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
