Gavino Matia hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jesus Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Benvide, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Santo Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Cebrian having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Isidoro Dunixi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Academia Papa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIABLOS ROJOS the free kick. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Academia Papa! 俞枫桑 had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Teo Abaurre's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Rodrigo Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99th minute, Alejo Beremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Americo Osasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 俞枫桑 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 101st minute of play. When the match was over La Academia Papa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DIABLOS ROJOS throughout the match.
