After 16 minutes, Reynaldo Deunoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cristianos FC and the tyncho futbol club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cristianos FC's Reynaldo Deunoro got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Angelino Aznar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Roldan, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lucas Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot. tyncho futbol club's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Ferdinand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Aznar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Americo Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Fernandes in the 54th minute of play. Americo Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Vergaray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of tyncho futbol club booed when Cristianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Eustacio Roldan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cristianos FC's Americo Vergaray didn't even have to move. Americo Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Americo Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Christobal in the 76th minute of play. Reynaldo Deunoro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cristianos FC's Americo Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Fernandes in the 95th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Cristianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Deunoro. The Cristianos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cristianos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
