Helvecia's Samuel Goizeder got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Rivas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Gregorio Bertol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Samuel Goizeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helvecia's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Goizeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Lauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Goizeder in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Lauro saved Atiles FC from getting behind. After having played for 17 minutes, Gregorio Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helvecia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Bertol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Lauro made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Samuel Goizeder sent off a good shot on target. Robustiano Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Goizeder in the 31st minute of the match. A hard shot 36 in the game by Samuel Goizeder from a close distance when the talented Robustiano Lauro managed to make a qualified save. Atiles FC's players were relieved. In the 37th minute Evaristo Indartsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Helvecia's Felix Rudolfo to fire away a dangerous shot which Robustiano Lauro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Atiles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Indartsu came free, but Robustiano Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Goizeders short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Robustiano Lauro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Goizeder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Samuel Goizeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Goizeder's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Natalio Rivas got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience was convinced that Samuel Goizeder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Lauro was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69th minute Samuel Goizeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Samuel Goizeder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Robustiano Lauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robustiano Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Goizeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Epifanio Abeitia came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Helvecia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Abeitia couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Goizeder in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Lauro saved Atiles FC from getting behind. Gavino Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Rodas in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Helvecia had played much better football throughout.
