Damaso Romelio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Jimeno Vergaray shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Iraitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The La Tierra y las Hormigas fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when La Tierra y las Hormigas's Gonzalo Frutos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 23 minutes into the game, one of AYUDIN:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Damian Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With an all-out effort, AYUDIN's Fernando Ariando threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Donato Mel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Damian Iraitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
