La Mano de Dios's Segundo Sayveon got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Sayveon in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Gregory prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erubiel Pabla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Senen, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Hugo Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Huly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mano de Dios's goalkeeper Erubiel Pabla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Tadeo Huly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seattle SuperSonics's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Huly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Pabla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Segundo Sayveon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, La Mano de Dios's goalkeeper Erubiel Pabla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Senen. Jimeno Jeraldo got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 81 played minutes La Mano de Dios got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Jeraldo. After 82 played minutes, Seattle SuperSonics's Francisco Salvino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erubiel Pabla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seattle SuperSonics reached it. Hugo Senen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Erubiel Pabla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
