Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Carlos Rameriz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Rameriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Carlos Rameriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcos Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mano de Dios's protests and gave Marcos Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. La Mano de Dios's Erubiel Pabla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Nesto in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, La Mano de Dios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. If Jorge Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, La Real Cantera's goalkeeper Felix Palos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Sayveon. In the 31st minute Marcelo Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Sayveon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Felix Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

56 minutes into the match, La Real Cantera's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Vachon came free, but Felix Palos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Felix Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to La Mano de Dios getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marcos Gervaso hit a great ball. Hermengildo Satordi might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erubiel Pabla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Satordi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Jorge Nesto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jorge Nesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Palos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Sayveon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the La Real Cantera defense, Segundo Sayveon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Palos. The La Real Cantera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Palos should have stopped the shot. Segundo Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Palos having to interfere. La Mano de Dios's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
