Arturo Favila started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Spartak de Moscú's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Senen came free, but Felipe Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Senen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seattle SuperSonics's Tadeo Huly got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulises Lehoi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Favila in the 14th minute of play forced Seattle SuperSonics's goalkeeper Fulgencio Gregory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Seattle SuperSonics's Tadeo Huly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Orlondon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Benito Resto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Seattle SuperSonics's Hugo Senen in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Hugo Senen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seattle SuperSonics's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Senen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Arturo Favila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Seattle SuperSonics's zone, Arturo Favila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Gregory came out of the goal and Arturo Favila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Tadeo Huly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Orlondon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Huly to strike the kick off in the second half. Arturo Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Spartak de Moscú got a corner. Seattle SuperSonics's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergio Monte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sergio Monte made a great header on Spartak de Moscú's corner, it was just that Seattle SuperSonics's Fulgencio Gregory managed to reach the ball for a save. Seattle SuperSonics's Fulgencio Gregory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Favila in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Arturo Favila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeo Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Orlondon having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Tadeo Huly lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Felipe Orlondon. In the 87th minute, Tadeo Huly reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felipe Orlondon. The goal made the score 1-4. Felipe Orlondon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Senen in the 91st minute. When Hugo Senen came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Seattle SuperSonics fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Senen couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Spartak de Moscú's zone, Tadeo Huly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Orlondon came out of the goal and Tadeo Huly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seattle SuperSonics's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
